About Lyn. E Beggs

Ms. Beggs received her bachelor’s degree from at the University of Nevada before attending the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and receiving her Juris Doctorate.  Ms. Beggs, a native of Northern Nevada, returned to Nevada and started her career at the Federal District Court for the District of Nevada in Reno as a staff attorney working with various judges and magistrates.  She then spent several years as a deputy public defender for Washoe County gaining extensive courtroom experience in both family and criminal matters.  Subsequently she acted as Deputy General Counsel and then General Counsel for the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners where she advised Board members and staff on an array of administrative law matters, prosecuted disciplinary matters and and consulted on a variety of issues affecting licensing as well as other aspects of the practice of medicine in Nevada.

In 2012, Ms. Beggs transitioned to the private sector to assist clients in professional licensing board administrative matters as well as general health care matters.  In 2014, Ms. Beggs established the Law Offices of Lyn E. Beggs, PLLC.

Ms Beggs’ extensive experience in working with state licensing boards, has provided her a unique position from which to assist clients with licensing and disciplinary matters.  Ms. Beggs has represented and advised clients on matters involving the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, the Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine, the Nevada State Board of Nursing, Nevada State Board of Massage Therapists, the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy, among others.  Additionally Ms. Beggs assists clients with matters involving ABMS specialty boards, DEA certificates and other state, federal, and private entities.  In addition to healthcare and professional licensing matters, Ms. Beggs also assists clients with a variety of general legal matters and dispute resolution.

Ms. Beggs understands providing clients with exceptional representation requires more than just  legal knowledge and experience.  Understanding the unique needs of each client is vital to providing the most effective legal representation.
